JAMB cutoff mark 2026

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has set the minimum cut-off marks for the 2026/2027 academic session as follows:

Universities: 150

Colleges of Nursing: 150

Polytechnics: 100

Colleges of Education/Agriculture: No UTME score required

πŸ’‘ It's important to note that these are minimum scores. Individual institutions may set higher cut-off marks based on the demand for specific courses and their admission capacity. For example, some competitive universities may set their cut-off marks at 200 or higher, and courses like Medicine, Law, and Engineering often have significantly higher cut-offs, potentially ranging from 200 to over 270.

Meeting the JAMB minimum score does not guarantee admission; candidates will still need to go through the institution's specific screening process (like the Post-UTME).

Always check the specific requirements of your chosen institution and course, as they may differ from the general JAMB benchmarks.
